Our Student Projects
Day of Silence
Each year, Spectrums students participate in a Day of Silence to recognize the harassment and discrimination faced by LGBT+ youth in our schools. Together, we are working to break the silence.
Staff Education
Our students work with teachers and faculty members to improve awareness of issues facing LGBT+ students. We participate in staff trainings and use our voices and experience to improve our communities.
Policy and Curriculum
At Spectrums, we are working to improve our communities and make our school a better place for LGBT+ people. We work advocate for more inclusive curricula and school policies, especially gender neutral bathrooms and comprehensive sex ed
